The Mandrill API can be used to perform different tasks. For example:

• Search recently sent messages and optionally narrow by date range, tags, senders, and API keys.
• Search the content of recently sent messages and return the aggregated hourly stats for matching messages
• Get the information for a single recently sent message
• Get the full content of a recently sent message
• Return the information about the API-connected user
• Validate an API key and respond to a ping
• Return the senders that have tried to use this account, both verified and unverified
• Send a new transactional message through Mandrill
